Marquette University ROTC branches to commemorate Sept. 11

Place: Flagpoles outside of Raynor Memorial Libraries
1355 W. Wisconsin Ave.

Students from Marquette University’s three ROTC branches – Air Force, Army and Navy – will host a memorial ceremony at the campus flagpoles, located outside Raynor Memorial Libraries at 1355 W. Wisconsin Ave., Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 3 p.m. Approximately 65 students will participate in the ceremony in remembrance of the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Milwaukee Fire Chief Mark Rohlfing will speak at the event and Ann Mulgrew, assistant director of Campus Ministry, will deliver an invocation.

WHAT: A flag-lowering ceremony and moment of silence performed by students from Marquette University’s three ROTC branches and Milwaukee Fire Chief Mark Rohlfing.

WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at 3 p.m.

WHERE: The flagpoles outside Raynor Memorial Libraries, 1355 W. Wisconsin Ave.
