MILWAUKEE – Marquette University’s Center for Real Estate on Thursday, Sept. 11, will host its third annual Real Estate Strategies Conference. Titled, “Managing the Horizon,” the half-day event will begin at 1 p.m. in the third-floor ballroom of the Alumni Memorial Union, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee.
The event will feature an economic forecast by Dr. Mark Eppli, interim Keyes Dean of Business Administration and Bell Chair in Real Estate at Marquette, as well as panel discussions on the new Northwestern Mutual office tower, regional development projects in the Kenosha area and opportunities for seeking capital.
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Steve Yastrow, author of Ditch the Pitch: The Art of Improvised Persuasion. He will share ideas from his new book and encourage attendees to “tear up their elevator speech,” and instead learn how to improvise effective persuasive conversations.
More information, including panel descriptions and speaker bios, is available online.
The public event is $75 per person. The deadline to register is Sept. 2; registration is available online.
