Loosely inspired by the Pan Am 103 tragedy, the Marquette Theatre Arts performance of The Women of Lockerbie depicts a grieving mother searching for her son’s remains seven years after the crash. The show will run from Thursday, Nov. 8 through Sunday, Nov. 18 at the Evan P. and Marion Helfaer Theatre, 525 N. 13th St.

The women of the Scottish town of Lockerbie defy the government to return the recovered clothing the victims’ families, using the power of love and redemption to carry the living forward. The performance will run:

  • Thursday, Nov. 8, through Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2:30 p.m.
